Following an accident in childhood I was left with misshapen front teeth which I lived with for many years. Last year I took the plunge to invest in Invisalign and restorative treatment and I’m thrilled with the results. Why did I wait so long? Karine guided me through the process and helped me to manage cleaning and wearing aligners. I was surprised to learn that good alignment helped with dental hygiene too which was another plus point. She’s was so friendly and welcoming, and she went out of her way to help arrange appointments around my busy work schedule, which I really appreciate.I also had a hygienist appointment with Megan and Alex. This was genuinely enjoyable and really informative. She gave my teeth a thorough clean and explained everything clearly along the way. As a nervous dentist goer I was impressed with Nisha’s service. Her professionalism and ability to put me at ease was brilliant. Had 2x fillings done yesterday (18th March) and I said to my dentist that I was nervous and that I had not been to the dentist in years and the last time was a bad experience. After many years of orthodontic work. I required permanent restorations to restore my upper front teeth which had naturally formed to be very small in size.Karine liaised with the orthodontist to ensure my bite was correct and that enough space had been given to be able to place composite bonding/build ups to my teeth to achieve the most athletically pleasing result.I am so happy with the result. Karine was extremely precise and took immense care, throughout all my treatment. Maggie recently replaced a molar which had multiple old metal fillings with a new crown. What a difference in both look and feel ! New crown is a significantly better fit with existing teeth and looks much better. I hate going to the dentist. I don’t suspect there are too many that don’t. However I’ve just completed a schedule of work required after a post Covid sabbatical and you know what? It wasn’t dreadful.I’d go as far as saying that after the initial couple of appointments I felt no angst in returning for further treatment. I broke one of my teeth and managed to get an appointment within in two hours in spite of my regular dentist being on holiday. I think this was pretty amazing and demonstrates to me that the practice is well managed, resourced and keeps some spare capacity in the diary for emergency care.The whole reconstruction process took 7 weeks to complete initially a tempory crown was fitted and then there were two further visits. One for prep and a 3D mouth survey and one to fit the replacement tooth the manufacture of which is outsourced.Quite an interesting process and a lot of high tech equipment and adhesive materials. The dentist explained this all very well and kept me informed on what was happening. I experienced no pain during temporary crown fitting or preparation phase.Selfie of my new tooth attached.Thank you to the team at Nailsea Dental Practice.The whole problem originated from a filling I had 50 years ago that was quite large. So look after your teeth or thay will cost you plenty.

Karin is an experienced dentist who is kind and listens well.She was empathetic when I decided to change my plan halfway through treatment. A perfectionist with her work.The reception staff were lovely too, telephone always answered. I don’t think that going to the dentist is high on anyone’s list of things they want to do. But it helps to find a dental practice where the people are so friendly, knowledgable, professional and competent. The practice is clean and light, as well as having up to date equipment and technology. The reception staff are pleasant and efficient. The hygienists have given me great advice and support about dental self care in a clear and non-patronising way. My dentist is the most sympathetic and professionally competent dentist I have had (over many years and different practices). Overall, the practice inspires trust in me that I will continue to receive a high quality service from people who know what they are doing and do it really well.

After breaking a tooth and being told I was no longer registered with my previous dentist I made contact with the Nailsea Dental Practice. Reception was very understanding and managed to get me booked in very quickly and efficiently. I needed a course of treatment with Maggie Nichols. All was carefully explained and a series of appointments to suit me were booked in and a schedule of costs provided, no unexpected cost shock here !Treatment proceeded as anticipated and pretty much on time.Perhaps most important was how at ease Maggie and her assistant made me feel and how relatively comfortable I felt during the treatment.I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone new to the area or looking to change.

For anyone looking for a dentist read on. Since childhood my experience with dentistry has been more Hammer House of Horror, rather than a necessary, moderatly inconvenient, time in the chair ensuring my love of all things sweet didn't, have an everlasting affect into adulthood.However, since my first consultation with Kareem and the team, all my faith in the dentistry profession has been restored. I no longer fear the chair. My experience with Nailsea Dental Practice has been overwhelmingly good. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere once you walk in the door is that of calm and professionalism. The care I have recieved has been second to non. The restoration of my smile has been nothing short of miraculous and for anyone considering dental work, complex or not, I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.I only wish I had come across them sooner.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years . All the Dentists and staff that support them are always excellent . I have had three different dentist Warren , Rachael and Maggie. You build up a real rapport with your Dentist and mine is now Maggie and their Dental nurse. They together support you and provide information so that nerves just disappear. I must also mention my hygienist who assists me keep my teeth in tip top condition I am a woman in her 70,s and have 31 teeth I lost one a few years back and have been with the practice since we came to Nailsea back in the mid 80’s . The plan we have means we see the same dentist and hygienist every 6 months ,have access to prompt emergency treatment and a reduction in treatment costs when we need further treatment . It gives us peace of mind. I thoroughly recommend them .
